| On Thursday, December 8, 2005, EUCCK held its year-end EUCCK Network Club, which was hosted in co-operation with the Polish Embassy. For this special networking night, EKF organised a Bingo Game. Six prizes donated by Daewoo Electronics were already waiting for their new owners. They included three vacuum cleaners, DVD players, and a 26¡± inch television set. With such great gifts to be won, the anticipation was extremely intense.

| EKF Scholarship Programme 2005/ 2006 |

| During the months of May, June, and July, EKF was busy processing the EKF Scholarship and the UKEO-EKF Scholarship Award applications, as well as conducting interviews with everyone who applied for the EKF Scholarship. In the middle of July, the final decisions were made, and three South Korean students will be awarded scholarships at a special ceremony on August 10, 2005. |

| Yangju City Social Welfare Campaign |

| On July 6, 2005, EKF had the opportunity to present two orphanages in Gyeonggi Province with a great selection of products donated by European companies. EKF and EUCCK together with the Yangju City Administration organised a social welfare campaign to support two orphanages, the Hanguk Boyugwon (Korean Children¡¯s Home) and the Gwangmyeong Boyugwon (Hope Children¡¯s Home), both of which are situated in beautiful countryside close to Yangju City in the north of Seoul. |

| 2nd Children¡¯s Quiz with Dong-A Daily |

Following the success of last year¡¯s children¡¯s quiz with Dong-A Daily, EKF and Dong-A Daily organized another quiz during the first week of May, which is traditionally a week dedicated to South Korea¡¯s children.
While last year¡¯s quiz was about the expansion of the European Union, this year, the quiz focused on Hans Christian Andersen. The quiz was announced in Dong-A Daily on May 3, 2005.
On June 8, 2005, Mr. Jean-Jacques Grauhar, President of EKF, drew the lucky winners, after which the winners were announced in Dong-A Kids on June 10, 2005. The prizes were sent out to the winning children on June 11 and 12, 2005.
This year 30,000 children had answered the question correctly and 232 lucky winners were able to win one of the following great prizes sponsored by adidas Korea, Lego, Mr. Chow, Nestle Korea, Philips, and Unilever:

| Results of the English Essay Contest 2005 |

| Earlier this year, the Korea Overseas Information Service (Dynamic Korea) and EKF decided to hold an English essay contest for all foreign students attending grades 9 to 12 in international school in Korea. The topic of the essay contest was ¡°What do you think makes Korea dynamic?¡± To ensure the fairness of the contest, there were two groups – one for native English speakers and on for non-native English speakers. |

| Seoul KyungAm Rotary Club Charity Exhibition for Children with Heart Problems |

| On Wednesday, May 18, 2005, and on Saturday, May 21, 2005, the Seoul KyungAm Rotary Club is opening a charity exhibition as part of the 100th anniversary of District 3640 of the International Rotary Club. The exhibition will present paintings by Wulam Jung Young Nam, on of the most famous Oriental painters in Korea. The event will raise funds to help children with heart problems.
EKF supports the event and has joined hands with Seoul KyungAm Rotary Club to help children in need. EKF hopes that many people will come and acquire some of the fantastic art pieces presented at the exhibition and to help provide the gift of life for children with heart problems.

| SEOUL EU FILM FESTIVAL 2005 |

| On behalf of the combined Embassies of the European Union represented in Seoul, the Royal Netherlands Embassy and the Europe-Korea Foundation are proud to announce the Seoul EU Film Festival at Cinecube Gwanghwamun from May 14 ~ May 19, 2005.
In close co-operation with the Royal Netherlands Embassy and with the support of ING Life, Home plus and Cinecube Gwanghwamun, films from 15 different EU countries will be presented twice during the festival. Besides offering the audience an enjoyable time, the festival will provide a window into the diverse cultures that comprise the European Union.

| BMW takes Orphans to the Land of Snow |

| Before they had to return back to school, BMW Korea treated 100 orphans and their caretakers of SOS Children¡¯s Village to a fun winter holiday at the ¡°Land of Snow¡± in Everland. This was the second event of its kind sponsored by BMW, following the holiday treat at Everland¡¯s Caribbean Bay in August 2004. The children were again able to ride BMW cars and enjoy themselves in the ¡°Land of Snow.¡± The day ended with dinner at Bennigan¡¯s.

| From January 25 to January 27, 2005, 65 children of the SOS Children¡¯s Village spent three days at Daemyong Vivaldi Ski Resort where they learned how to ski, and where they enjoyed themselves during football games and on hiking tours in the area around the resort. |
